Now blogging over at Onemanmanyplans.com.au

It's been real, thanks Blogger! Hey thanks for checking out this page! After 10 years of posting here and over 600 posts, it's time to try something new at over possibly greener pastures. Which means you can now find me and all my random adventuring ways over at One Man Many Plans .

100 rambling shots and still standing

Well open up your Paypal's and make me a millionaire, today we celebrate the 100th recorded for prosperity rambling here at Almigo's adventures. And the number of people who have dropped by for a butchers since I first punched fist to keyboard is truly heart warming:

That's 692000 more than I was expecting.

The century, the ton, the gorrila - whatever you want to call it, this is the 100th poetic posting. And in truly century sans fireworks celebration, today we consult the stats counter to work out which diatribe has really brought once strangers to my humble backyard...

THE TEN MOST POPULAR POSTS HERE AT ALMIGO'S ADVENTURES:

10. THE BIRD WHO SOUNDS LIKE A PORNSTAR.

Behold the glory!
Up until a random press release jumped into my inbox, I had no idea there was a bird that went by the name of the Helmeted Honeyeater. Up until I posted about it here on this page, I also had no idea the Helmeted Honeyeater was so damn popular in the online community...Relive the confusion here.

9. THIS SONG, I AM CONFUSED BY IT'S MEANING.

Do do do do do do do do de dah do..
I solved the mystery of Pumped Up Kicks, Climax, Moves Like Jagger and other popular songs. I must have guessed incredibly correctly as no one has ever said otherwise..

8. BUYING AND SELLING THINGS UNDER A TREE

Buy buy sell sell!
A mostly free alternative service to sell my collection of random crap in Australia that isn't eBay? Sign me up! (I have since come to learn that Gumtree is actually owned by eBay so the joke's on me really...)

7. MY IPHONE KEEPS EATING MY BATTERY!

A helpful guide I wrote (read: stole) to help people getting past the incredible flaw IOS 5.1.1 had in some cases when it ate battery life like a starving incredible Hulk. Amazingly it is still read to this day so 5.1.1 is still being used somewhere around the world.

6. THE RETURN OF THE ICONIC DATSUN BRAND

Brooom!
I grew up in the back seat of a British Racing Green Datsun 260Z so you can imagine the stirring in my loins when I discovered that Japanese car brand Datsun was planning a resuregence. Imagine the pseudo kick in the testicles I felt though when I discovered it wouldn't be here. Relive the agony right here.

5. HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT 1D?

Wait...
An incrediblly in depth quick about some boy band that's famous or something. I don't know. I'm not really a fan. Any day now I'm probably going to die in an avalanche of fan mail from One Directioners pointing out how good my quiz was though. It's amazingly accurate.

4. WHERE IS THIS HOUSE AND WHO LIVES THERE?

When he's not creating haunting brilliance through his rendition of 'Wayward Stranger', Ed Sheeran occasionally likes to sing about a house made of Lego. Luckily for the clueless, I finally revealed who Ed was really singing about when he wrote it..(results may suprise you!)

3. A LOGICAL ARTICLE THAT ISN'T A SECRET

A quick guide to stop people from falling for the line about 'insider secrets they don't want you to know' in the world of becoming stinkingly weathly. At last count nearly 12000 people read up on it so there's hope for the world yet...

2. THE FACTS ABOUT NICKI MINAJ

Gah!!
100 Minaj facts. All agonizingly true. None of them probably Minaj approved.

1. EXPOSING THE TRUTH BEHIND FLO RIDA'S WHISTLE.

Okay, this was simply staggering. Not for the fact that about 87% of my traffic from the first pic in this piece was because of this artice, not the fact that over 600,000 people didn't know what Flo Rida's song Whistle was about and landed here for answers - it was the fact that I wrote this story back in May 9 2012...and it's still my most popular post everyday. Yep, a few hundred visits each and every day as more and more people come to terms with my wonderful revealing (How I wished each and everyone of them actually clicked on an ad while they read along...oh well). It's still linked on Twitter, Facebook and other social media circles, the occasional comment still pops up and it appears on lyrics explanation sites the world over. Will it ever stop?

Greatest post of all time! (on this site)

Hope not.
At least not until I bash the next 100 posts out ;)
