The adventures of the millionaire mower

Usually myself and mowers don't go well - I either spend too much on a mower that doesn't do much at all or spend too much time trying to coax life back into free mowers who would much rather be left for dead. Until this week when I managed to snap up a decent 4 stroke for a bargain price of $50. From a couple who I suspect are actually multi millionaires..

Last night I had a truly amazing meal on the Gold Coast Waterfront at a delicious seafood eatery. The beer was crisp, the garlic prawns to the die for, the steak looked a little different to what I was used to but was still tasty and dessert was decidedly decadent. Excuse me, what is this? My only niggle? Given that I don't spend much time doing super fine dining (last night's effort was because I won a voucher, this blog really hasn't generated enough revenue to purchase some small fries so far) I struggled to understand roughly some of what was going on...

Oh spaghetti bolognese, you beautiful bastard

Now you'd think that by now, 19 years since it became the first thing I ever learnt to cook (I'm not counting sausages here because it required very little effort) that I'd be sick of Spaghetti Bolognese - but you'd be wrong. The inspiration for tonight's post I freakin love spaghetti bolognese. And I'll happily eat it twice a month until the day I die...
