An open letter to the power companies of Australia

Greetings electricity and gas companies of Australia (and yes this includes you Energy Australia, Victoria Energy, Powercor, Hamster Wheel energy, Simply Energy, Bolivian Energy and any and all energy companies I've forgotten the name of on this beautiful continent I call home), Consider yourselves on notice. I'm mashing fist to keyboard on this muggy day to inform you there's a practice that I'm 99% sure all of you are guilty of that should cease immediately. Because rather than getting me excited about deals and how many shekels I can save per energy bill, it's doing nothing but building the bonfires of my ire. For the love of god, please stop sending your door to door idiots to my door.. 'I'm here to talk about savings...'

The top 5 laziest people on TV

Welcome to the inaugural can't be stuffed list here at Almigo's Adventures - Aka those who cannot give a fig, those who won't do anything, the incredibly lazy aka we're not sure why you're even on this TV taking up space to begin with. I've been watching a lot of random TV recently and the list of those taking up needless space is really starting to form itself... Close approximation of my place

50 things you didn't know about 50 Shades of Grey!

Fifty Shades of Grey hey? Amazing book apparently if you like your reading with a bit of spice and a touch of whipping. My wife seems to be really enjoying things so far. But I bet you've never read these amazing facts about the raunchy trilogy though... Riveting!

First a trickle, then a horde..

Lifeless eyes? Check. Staggered movements? Check. A mighty horde? Check. Okay, maybe I have been watching a little too much of AMC's The Walking Dead lately but seriously, I thought I'm stumbled across a horde of biters the other day while trying to find a park...

Give us our daily bread, cheap!

In no particular order I love the occasional small punt (aka wager), bargain and food. So when rummaging around some garage sales recently and stumbling across a dusty bread maker with a measly $5 price tag on it, you could just imagine how happy I was to tick all of that like a ready to go Trifecta... Sadly the original pic seems to have been lost to the sands of internet time but it looked roughly like this one.

Congratulations, someone in your family truly hates you!

When unwrapping the gifts under the Xmas tree this year, rejoice if you score any of the following: Socks Jocks Lottery tickets Sand Coal Nothing Huzah! Because it means that even though the gift giver has put as much thought into Christmas as their last trip to the toilet, it's still light years ahead of the duller than dull dishwater gift I saw yesterday for sale at a Supermarket near you...it is....wait for it....
