Printing the world, one zombie at a time

Look truth be told, I don't really need another hobby. But thanks to my 3D printer managing to be delivered just hours before the next Covid lock down came into effect, well I now have one!  That is once my kids have finished printing out any and all the completely random things they can find online...

Now with Pfizer 1.0 upgrade!

Yeah finally got the first jab today! So far no side effects but if this injection is truly sentient and can sense what I'm typing at the moment, can it do some fine tuning while it's raging around my system? Cheers.

Getting my kicks looking at Clix

It's been a while since I trawled commerce site Aliexpress for possible treasures. And when I say treasures, I actually mean hilariously bad knock offs/run offs/things from the factory that should have hit the bin instead of the sales page. This time around I've come across a huge haul of absolute nightmares that you can use for the game Heroclix, provided you don't want your heroes to look anything like you'd hope they would. As a long term comic fan, even I'm struggling to work out who some of these are supposed to be. Come check out the blurry unrecognizable madness!

200 Games you must play (part 5 of 5) The missing list

Well we got there in the end - trawling through 200 games that 3 years ago Hyper Magazine reckoned we should have played or at least tried. And while there were some obvious choices in there (Skyrim, Witcher, Gran Turismo 2) there were also a few noticeable absences from that mighty list. Maybe Hyper just missed them? Maybe the staff behind the list didn't share my love of what didn't make the cut? Whatever the reason, here's a few more must plays I'm adding to my own list. So without any further ado, have you tried the following...?

Buried treasure on my pc AND the backyard!

Isn't it amazing what you find when you're not looking for it? Case in point tonight finds me sweeping the vast hard drives of my home PC to find a program to deal with ISO files. But instead I managed to stumble over some zipped up photos from 8 years ago when I was convinced I was going to strike it rich in my own overgrown backyard...
