What does this song mean?

And here I was thinking that I'd done the world a massive favour by revealing what Flo Rida's song Whistle was really about (hint, if you don't know, it's all explained on this very site right here). But it seems I celebrated my helpful ways a little too early as a quick check on Google reveals that I really do have my work cut out for me - there's a whole heap of songs out there that people are still confused by.

And so in the spirit of awesomeness, once again I have donned my cap of explaination to prove the answers to your crippling song meaning questions...

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF FLO RIDA'S SONG 'WHISTLE?'

Wing attack!
Already done my friend, you can read the full explaination right here.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF 'PUMPED UP KICKS' BY FOSTER THE PEOPLE?

Reebok Pumps actually. Those wonderful shoes back in the 90's that inflated with a push of the basketball shaped button on the toungue. If you owned a pair then you were the king of the school yard and the envy of students in every year level. You could pretend that your Airwalkers were just the same but no, they weren't even close. Not even when you draw a button with 'pump' written in blue pen. You weren't fooling anyone Clint.

Rabbit wants these. Bad.
Oh yeah and it's also about some psychopathic kid named after Eminem's character in the movie 8 Mile who wants your Reebok pumps. And he'll kill you for them. They're that good.

God we miss them. Wish I had a pair right now.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF 'CLIMAX' BY USHER?

Usher loves his action movies - he's a massive fan. Sometimes Justin Beiber comes around and after some hoops and high fives on Usher's gold plated basketball court, they spend the rest of the evening both watching and discussing the intricities of classic movies like Con Air, The Rock and Face Off (Usher is actually a huge Nic Cage fan except for the Ghost Rider movies which are terrible).
His favourite part of action movies is the climax, which is the true action part of the movie. The bad guy gets hurled off a cliff, the bus explodes, the hero is just about to get the girl - the really exciting part that isn't someone crying hysterically.

Loves a good action movie.
Usher was going to write a song called 'Credits' but they're nowhere near as exciting as the climax of a movie. 'Subtitles' was also considered.

WHAT DOES THE SONG 'MOVES LIKE JAGGER?' MEAN?

Dance moves of Mick Jagger? Sure there's a few of them but they're more like confident rooster struts that Mick has perfected over the years than dance moves and 'Confident rooster struts like Jagger' would be a terrible song name for commercial music charts.
Secretly this song is focussing instead on the amazing number of real estate moves Mick Jagger has experienced throughout his life from when he was just a junior sales assistant at the Yorkshire tennis ball factory and moved from a single bedroom flat to a slightly bigger single bedroom flat, right through his success with the supergroup The Rolling Stones and he finally upgraded to a small dwelling with an incredible two bedrooms and even a working toilet!
Mick has always taken pride in his commanding of removalists and this song reflects the passion he has when people are loading and unloading his removalist truck. It's an art form really which Mick puts right next to performing in terms of commitment and attitude.

Moving like Jagger
You haven't lived until you've seen Mick tell you were to put his favourite potted fern.
Adam Levine obviously has and good on him for sharing it with the rest of the world!

Right, any other song you're confused by?

Please don't ignore this massage

It's been a while between scam emails - life has been life, work has been hectic, I've been grunting and sweating my way through my exercise sessions and so I've been putting responding to random idiots through my email on the back burner.  Until today when I was kindly asked not to 'ignore this massage.' I hope it's a hot stone one! Trust me, I NEVER ignore a massage. Better set the record straight then...
