So there's been a lot on outside my world of fantasy football this week. Work primarily, a trip to Melbourne for medical reasons, more work when I got back, an overheating Subaru (still) and annoying bills that want to get paid.
The good news is, I did swap some things around for the Flavorless Flav's this week, I just haven't updated the rest of the world about it until now.
So this (late) week:
A former captain is captain again.
The injuries have been benched.
And a 10 year old swapped one of my players out on a whim..
CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN
The crown has gone back to the Bont and long my he reign. While the Luggage was doing well, the Luggage is also off with injury the week so the Bont is back double his score. Sadly Penders who was in the running to also wear the crown at some stage has dropped the points by quite a bit - he's still in third place to reign but both the Bont and The Luggage are miles ahead.
RIDE THE PINE
I mentioned the Luggage being injured, he's done a hammy from memory.
Joining him bench wise is Danger which is disappointing as both of these gents are some of the better players on the team.
AND AFTER THAT WE WELCOME...
Look I probably should have written down who I actually swapped out because it was a couple of days ago and I've clean forgot who exited stage left. While I figure that bit out, meet the new guy:
DARCY FORT
Darcy fits in both the FWD and RUC positions which must mean I got rid of a RUC and since Flynn is still part of the team, it was obviously...the inconsistent Stanley who got the boot! (I knew I'd get there in the end!)
Also while watching me trying to hash some kind of genius plan together last minute, my son Jackson asked if he could have a go and so after making it through just one round with the team, poor Pepper Potts (sorry Powell-Pepper) ended up as a trade. Taking his place is good old Ed here:
ED RICHARDS - DEF
So injuries out, new blood in and hoping like hell the De Silva Surfers fall over this week, we look a little like this:
Will it be enough? Stay tuned!
TO BE CONTINUED!
