John Wick 3: The Killinging - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

I enjoyed John Wick 1 and John avenging his dog - as a loving dog owner (RIP Savannah) I completely understand his anger and cheered him on as he got revenge and his car back and occasionally remembered his wife. I enjoyed John Wick 2 from what I remembered of it. Although it's amazing how many assassins there are in his world. Even people busking in Subways are ready to shoot to kill. Hell, even the homeless seem to have a hidden (underground) agenda. I've just finished John Wick 3: Parabellum a couple of days ago...annnnnd I'm still not sure what to make of it. AHOY - POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD.

U2 - the greatest tree I've ever witnessed

Amusingly even though I'm clocking up close to twenty years working in radio, I can count on one hand the massive stadium shows I've experienced I've been too and most of them were football games! (Although I'll never forget my 2005 AFL Grand Final experience alongside my brother!) Thankfully a couple of days ago the might that is U2 changed that for me...and in all probability have now set the bar ridiculously high for any future concerts I check out in the next twenty years.. My old Huawei phone takes great photos. Up close not so much.

Let's build an awful hotel together! Part 2: The potato palace

If you've just joined us, I'm having fun wasting the time of a nasty internet scammer. Unfortunately my last attempt misfired: It turns out she was a little smarter than I gave her credit for.  So what's a blogger to do? Reopen up another old email account and pretend to be someone else! Exactly what she's doing really. This time I'm taking a leaf out of Sasha Baron Cohen's book and lining up a simple man from Vladevostok with a love of potatoes and an interesting grasp on English. What could possibly go wrong this time?

Let's build an awful hotel together! Part 1: Slam that door!

Help a random email scammer move millions (or take some of my hard earned?) I'd rather slam my junk in a door. Actually there's an idea... Either one of these doors are fine.

There are 100 numbers, choose 1

It's always the way isn't it? You have a task, a challenge, a job, something you've promised yourself you'll finally get around to finishing (or in the case of big projects at least getting more of it done) and for some reason you distract yourself with other projects. For me it's working on my latest book. The idea is there, the idea I feel is solid. It's just a case of sitting down and banging away on the keyboard each night to get it from my brain to e-paper.  I've made a great start... ...and then all of a sudden I'm working on a podcast which has no bearing on the book whatsoever? Good work Almigo, you've done it again!

A night on the sauce and a dead Samurai

Today I feel like I've tried to give a moving bus a headlock. But still, it was a truly fun weekend.. Getting my head in the game. It's taking quite some time today..

Please don't ignore this massage

It's been a while between scam emails - life has been life, work has been hectic, I've been grunting and sweating my way through my exercise sessions and so I've been putting responding to random idiots through my email on the back burner.  Until today when I was kindly asked not to 'ignore this massage.' I hope it's a hot stone one! Trust me, I NEVER ignore a massage. Better set the record straight then...
