The Breakfast Radio Diaries 093 - The future quest for the Golden Gumboot

Lu's back, the egg Rollie returns and the question is raised, how quickly can I scarf down a scone?

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 092 - Dragons, rings and dad jokes

Lu's still sick, I'm trying not to drown the place in groans thanks to some really bad dad jokes and one in twenty Australians love a good dragon..

Announcement - Last Thief Standing is out now!

  My latest book is go!

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 091 - Cars made of pasta while the world burns

Lu's sick, I'm dreaming of the end of the world and a spelling mistake has pushed my latest writing effort back a couple of days..

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 090 - Taking the battery for a walk

Welp. It's always the way isn't it? You finish your work on a Friday, pumped for the weekend, only to find that when you get back into your car the battery decides it doesn't want to work anymore..

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 089 - Dressed to unimpressed

Just a singlet, pair of jocks and a single sock do not a work outfit make..

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 088 - Now with 124% more bounce

The temps are in the 40's, coffees cheap and both breakfast and dinner are served late. Well that's what Lu experienced on her recent trip across Italy. Closer to home it's cold, coffee's pricey and I'm eating breakfast before the sun rises.  Also when did Book Week really take off because I'm kind of annoyed I missed it in Primary School.

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 087 - Geography fail

Today's workout involved dumbbell presses and barbell step ups. Today's post workout feed (and lunch) was a truly delicious home made chicken pesto pasta. I'm at 47% with my editing and I learnt today to read everything before you decide to relay it on air..

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 086 - It's been 26 years at least...

So it turns out I'm not the only coach having a rough year in 2022 and over the weekend I tried something again that I haven't given a go to...since 1996. Amazingly it went okay!

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 085 - Levels are a little low captain..

I'm at 14% with editing, 12% peckish right now and have about 22% battery life. Not on my phone, I'm talking my own energy levels. It's been a busy week and I'm a touch tired now but so happy it's Friday...

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 084 - If you could stop shotgunning gang members for a minute..

Look, I really should be editing right now. My latest book Last Thief Standing is in the first draft finished stage and as much as I'd like to leave it on my Google Drive and come back in a couple of days to find it's magically edited itself, we all know that's not going to happen. But silly me installed Cyberpunk 2077 recently and if you've played that game, you'll know how horribly addictive and how much of a true time sink it really is.  So that's distracting enough. And then there's this 'work' thing (I don't think it's really going to take off personally) that also seems to want some of my time, especially in the waking hours. But hey, at least today I got to chat about human looking robots and boxing in Wales so that was a bonus!

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 083 - Tell the kids on curry night

Today we find out the world's low on low on gaviscon, scomo's portfolio list is climbing by the day and I managed not to look at my alarm at all overnight, even though I woke up quite a few times ready to do just that.

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 082 - Portfolios and bikinis

Dear former Australian Prime Minster Scott Morrison, On behalf of all breakfast announcers like myself across the country, thanks so much for adding yourself to various portfolios while you were Prime Minister. While it's doubtful I'll understand the full ramifications of this move (I'm not great with politics, let's be honest) it did give us all plenty to talk about this morning with the ongoing investigation so thank you. Regards -Almigo

The Breakfast Radio Diaries 081 - Guess who's back, back again

No it's not Shady, so no need to tell a friend. But after three weeks of downtime, I'm back on the airwaves and amazingly still remember what I'm doing (and which buttons do which), which helps a lot when you're manning the show by yourself.

Not ready to break Instagram

It's been a while since I had an offer to become InstaFamous. Or more closer to the point, gain thousands of additional followers by taking up a great offer through my email. Stefan from WeGrow tried a couple of times (and got some amusing replies in response) but now Brenda has decided that she can FIX my Instagram. And here I was, blissfully unaware it was broken...

An update on the Flavorless Flav's, The Fajitas and now the Uppercuts

Strangely for someone terrible at sport, there's been quite a few posts about it the year on Almigo's Adventures. So much so that I've decided to continue on my hapless coaching saga on another page, dedicated to the wonderful world of armchair coaching.  Keen to read up on me making some of the worst sporting decisions in AFL Football, Soccer and now the huge and confusing world of Major League Baseball? I've got a seat by the sidelines just for you!
